As part of the wider rebrand of the AFC’s club competitions, Polymath partnered with the Asian Football Confederation and Asia Football Group to create the identity for the AFC Women’s Champions League™, the first pan-continental women’s club competition in Asia. The brand was designed to celebrate progress and ambition with the aim of elevating the
women’s game.

The creative approach was built on balance, pairing boldness and confidence with authenticity. A bespoke visual system blends modern energy with cultural depth, uniting players, fans and host nations under one identity. A custom pattern was created to express movement and empowerment, tying directly to the tone of ambition and unity that shapes the tournament. Polymath also worked with Thomas Lyte, the official trophy supplier of the AFC Club Competitions, to guide the creative direction of the new trophy so its form reflected the identity and values of the competition. The visual system uses a considered colour palette and adaptable motion principles to stay consistent across all environments, including on screen or in the stadium.

The result is a brand that celebrates connection and competition, reflecting the energy and optimism driving the next generation of Asian football.
