AFC Champions League Two™
Year: 2024
Client: Asian Football Confederation (AFC)
As part of the AFC’s wider club competition rebrand, Polymath partnered with the Asian Football Confederation and Asia Football Group to create the identity for the AFC Champions League Two™, Asia’s second tier men’s club competition. Designed as part of the new Unlimited Asia system, the brand was developed to give clubs across the continent a distinct identity and the opportunity to shine on an international stage.

The creative direction centred on ambition and opportunity, with a logo and visual system that connects 47 nations through football. A custom pattern was developed to reflect the spirit of movement and collaboration that defines the competition, visually linking to the strength and aspiration of the participating clubs. Polymath also collaborated with Thomas Lyte, the official trophy supplier of the AFC Club Competitions, to support the design of the tournament trophy and ensure that the trophy aligned with the brand’s vision and creative intent. The flexible design framework was applied across stadium, broadcast, digital and fan experiences to ensure cohesion and adaptability.

The result is a brand that celebrates connection and competition, reflecting the energy and optimism driving the next generation of Asian football.
